Bulk Edit Add Location
Note: As of January 27, 2021, Basis is using a new version of location targeting. Active tactics that use the legacy version will continue to target selected locations. The new targeting taxonomy impacts countries, regions, and cities, but not DMA codes, ZIP/postal codes, or hyperlocal targets. If you want to edit the locations of an existing tactic, you must replace all country, region, and city targets for that tactic using the tactic editor or by replacing locations in bulk. You cannot bulk add locations to tactics that use legacy locations.
See New Location Targeting for more information.
When you bulk edit tactics, you can add more locations to their existing location targets. To completely overwrite your tactics' previously existing location rules, use the Bulk Edit Replace Location option.
Open a campaign and click Actions > Tactics, under Bulk Edit.
Click the Add button (+) next to the tactics that you want to edit.
In the Bulk Edit Tactics toolbar, click Edit > Location > Add.
Select the locations that you want to add to these tactics. Use the Country/Region/City, DMA, ZIP/Postal, and Geopolitical tabs for different location options. Review your targeting rules in the panel on the right. For more details, see Location.
The rules you save are added to the previously existing rules. If any of the new rules target a location that overlaps with the location for an existing rule, the new rule overrides the existing rule. You must select at least one location before you save your changes. For example, if an existing rule includes Boston and a new rule excludes Massachusetts, all of Massachusetts is excluded. The rule to include Boston is discarded.
Click Save to add these locations to the selected tactics.
