Bulk Editing Tactic Locations - Replace

Remove the old location targeting rules and replace them with new ones for more than one tactic at the same time. See Bulk Editing Tactic Locations - Add if you want to add locations instead.

To bulk replace locations:

1. Go to Main Menu [] > Campaign.

2. Select the campaign and media plan.

3. Select Actions > Tactics.

4. Select the tactics that you want to edit. Select the group or line item to select all of its tactics.

   

5. On the Bulk Edit Tactics toolbar, select Edit > Location > Replace all existing.

6. Select the type of location that you want to add:

   • Country/Region/City

   • DMA

   • ZIP/Postal

   • Geopolitical

   • Location Set

7. Select Add [] to add the location to the location rules.

   If any of the new locations overlap with a tactic's existing location targets, the new rule overrides the old one. For example, if an existing rule targets Boston and the new rule excludes Massachusetts, all of Massachusetts is excluded and the rule to target Boston is removed.

8. Configure the targeting rules, then select Save to apply the location targeting rules to the selected tactics. The tactics' current location targeting rules are deleted.

9. After the rules successfully save, select Close [] to return to the media plan.
