External User Access

Invite external users, such as your organization's clients, to view dashboards directly in Basis, so they can see campaign performance data in real-time.

External users are added with Viewer permissions, and can only see dashboards you have shared with them. They are limited to read-only access of dashboards, which means:

• External users cannot filter the dashboard list, but they can favorite dashboards.

• External users cannot edit dashboards, email dashboards, or schedule alerts.

• External users can download dashboards as CSV or PDF files.

• External users can temporarily update dashboard filters.

• The following columns are not available in the dashboard list: Visibility, Owner, and Date Created.

Before external users can view dashboards, you must first add them as a user in your organization's Client/Brand tab and invite them to view dashboards.
