Setting Up Pacing Notifications
Enable pacing notifications to receive summaries of under- and over-pacing line items directly to your inbox. These alerts help you monitor live campaigns and identify which line items aren't meeting your pacing goals, so you can adjust them as required.
Basis sends pacing notifications once per day at 11:00 AM CST. Pacing calculations are based on net media spend.
To set up pacing notifications:
-
Go to Main Menu [
] > My Settings.
-
Select Notifications.
-
Enable Send pacing summary emails for My Campaigns.
-
Select when you want to receive these emails and set the line item pacing thresholds.
- Use the Send weekly on menu to select the days of the week you want to receive pacing notifications. You must select at least one day to receive these emails.
- Select Under and enter the pacing percentage to include line items that are pacing under that value.
- Select Over and enter the pacing percentage to include line items that are pacing over that value.
-
Click Save to apply your changes. You'll receive pacing notifications weekly on the days you selected.
Understanding Pacing Notification Emails
After you've set up pacing notifications, you'll start to receive emails that summarize your line item pacing performance. We send one email per day at 11 AM CT on the days of the week you selected. If your campaigns have line items that are pacing over or under the thresholds defined in your settings, you'll see a breakdown of those line items.
The summary includes each line item that is over or under pacing, the campaigns they belong to, the net media pacing percentage, and the start and end dates. Select a line item to open its analytics in Basis and make adjustments as required.
If all of your line items are pacing within the defined threshold, you'll still receive an email that says all of your line items are pacing well.
