Custom Formats

Besides support for regular native creatives, Nativo also has custom placements called Native Article and Native Stories, which include full page sponsored content on the publisher's site or app. See documentation below for more details.

The custom formats require a custom creative generated by Nativo. You are provided a creative locator URL which should be added to a dummy native creative in the DSP as an impression tracker. The dummy creative will not be shown, it is only used to pass the locator URL.

Technical Considerations

Viewability

Nativo has partnered with JavaScript measurement vendors, which enables customers to run viewability measurement tags from third-party companies on Nativo ads. Specifically, Integral Ad Science (IAS), DV (DoubleVerify), Comsore, Pixalate, Moat, and Google are whitelisted across our exchange.

Native Ad Specifications

The following are the ad specification for Native Ads:

  • Headline (Required): 60-90 characters recommended; 250 characters max

  • Description (Required): 120 characters recommended; 1000 characters max. Not used for all placements.

  • Content URL (Required): The click URL of the ad.

  • Preview Image (Required): 800x600 recommended PNG/JPEG/GIF

    • A 4:3 aspect ratio for the image is recommended, but other ratios are permissible. Placements vary in image aspect ratio, so images should not contain text to allow for cropping.

  • Brand Name (Required): The name of the brand advertised. 90 characters max

  • Brand Logo (Optional): Transparent PNG 150x75px
