CRM Audiences

Upload CRM data to Basis to create first-party audience segments that you can target in campaigns. Using our LiveRamp integration, we can match CRM data to LiveRamp's RampIDs to offer improved identity mapping and audience targeting while ensuring data privacy.

The CPM fee to target CRM audiences is $1.50.

You don't have to be a LiveRamp customer to create CRM audiences in Basis. If you are a LiveRamp customer, you can push CRM data to the DSP directly through LiveRamp.

Upload Limits

There is a daily upload limit of 3 million records per advertiser—you can upload up to 3 million records across multiple CRM audiences per 24-hour period. There is no limit to the number of records per audience.

LiveRamp continually updates its identity graph with new data points, which can cause RampIDs to shift over time. While these changes are minimal and unlikely to impact campaigns in the short term, they might have an impact in the long term. After 150 days, you can re-upload your audience to refresh the data and ensure match rates remain high.

The date filter for CRM audiences displays the last 180 days by default to show the most up-to-date audience data.

Matches

After you upload a CRM list to an audience, LiveRamp processes the data, and you’ll see the number of matches in Basis.

Matches is the number of individuals in the uploaded file, determined by the number of records in the uploaded file that LiveRamp can map to a RampID. A single RampID corresponds to a single individual.

The number of matches will change while the file is being processed, which can take 20-60 minutes depending on the file size. When it's fully processed, the number of matches is finalized and won't change or expire over time.

First-Party Privacy and Safety

Basis Technologies uses LiveRamp as the preferred partner for onboarding first-party data and turning this engaged user set into advertising cookies. As this data contains personally identifiable information (PII), Basis Technologies uses extreme caution to ensure that all data is on-boarded anonymously.

LiveRamp Identity Integration is GDPR and CCPA compliant, like cookie- and device ID-based identities.

All user segments are anonymous and automated to LiveRamp's UI without human interaction. When you upload a CRM data file through Basis, the file is uploaded directly to LiveRamp—the raw data is never exposed to Basis Technologies, and we do not store your data. Basis only stores anonymized RampIDs that LiveRamp creates based on your CRM lists. We also provide the option to upload encrypted emails and phone numbers instead of plaintext PII. Basis' reporting and billing workflows are also in compliance with historical LiveRamp data.

LiveRamp’s privacy policy requires that uploaded PII must only reference persons based in the USA. Do not upload PII for persons outside of the USA.
