Removing an Approved Line Item

It can take up to 45 minutes for changes to take effect in Analytics.

You can delete line items from approved media plans before the line item's start date. If the line items that you remove include ad serving, you must export the data to the ad servers again. For Direct line items, the client must approve the revision, and the vendor must accept the revised IO.

You must create a revision in order to remove line items from approved plans.

If it is after the line item's start date but there is no spend, you can cancel the line item instead.

Approved media plans must include at least one line item. You cannot delete or cancel every line item in the plan.

To remove an approved line item:

  1. Go to Main Menu [] > Campaigns.

  2. Select a campaign.

  3. On the Overview tab, click Revise media plan. A revision appears beneath the live plan.

  4. Select the revision.

  5. Find the channel that includes the line items you want to remove, then click Edit.

  6. Click a line item's Options [], then select Delete. The line item greys out, and a strikethrough appears through its details.

    • If you want to restore the line item, click the backwards arrow next to the deleted line item.

    • To undo all of your changes, click Exit, then click Exit without saving.

  7. If you delete a line item from your DSP channel, a confirmation modal appears. Click Delete to remove the line item.

  8. Click Save to apply your changes and remove the line item from the media plan.
