Integrating LinkedIn

Basis has a one-way integration with LinkedIn, receiving delivery, performance, and spend data so you can easily include LinkedIn metrics in your reporting.

How it Works

To integrate LinkedIn:

  1. Before setting up your Basis campaign, add your LinkedIn account to Basis.

    1. Go to Main Menu [] > My Settings > Third Party Accounts. See Third Party Accounts for more on adding an account.

  2. When setting up your Basis campaign, add a social line item for each LinkedIn campaign. See Adding Line Items to Campaigns for more information.

  3. Map delivery from your LinkedIn campaign to a Basis line item. After your campaign goes live, your delivery data appears in Basis. See Search and Social Delivery Data: Quick Reference for more information.

Delivery Data Note: Due to a change in LinkedIn's delivery data (effective July 28, 2020), line items that receive 0 impressions won't appear in reports or on the Analytics page, even if the line item is live. Only line items with non-zero delivery will appear.
