Copying Groups

Copying groups creates new groups that have the same settings and tactics as the original group, except archived tactics.

Copying and pasting is currently not available for Programmatic Guaranteed groups, and digital out-of-home groups can only be pasted into digital out-of-home line items.

To copy and paste a group:

  1. Go to Main Menu [] > Campaign.

  2. Select the campaign and media plan.

  3. Find the DSP group that you want to copy, then select Options [] > Copy. This copies the group's details to the clipboard.

    • If you want to copy more than one group, press and hold the Shift key, then select Options [] > Add to clipboard for the additional groups.

  4. Find the line item that you want to paste the group in, then select Options [] > Paste group.

    • If you want to edit the group before pasting it, select Yes.

      1. Select Include domain, exchange, and placement optimization (if applicable) to include these settings in the new group.

      2. Edit the group's settings, then select Save & Paste to create the new group. See Creating Groups for more information.

    • If you don't want to edit the group right away, select No to paste the group. It appears on the media plan, and you can edit it later.

    The pasted groups are offline by default and don't include optimized budgets if the original groups used group budget optimization (GBO). Edit the groups to change their status and to turn on GBO.
