Conversion Tracking and Retargeting with Pixels
In Basis you can create audience, conversion, and universal pixels to track user actions and conversions, and for retargeting.
Pixels are scoped at the brand level, so any pixels you create are available for tactics in other campaigns for that brand.
Working with Pixels
View, manage, and archive a brand's pixels.
Audience Pixels
Use Audience Pixels to build an audience, or a list of users who have visited a certain website. After you have created your audience, you can create a retargeting tactic tailored to those specific users.
Conversion Pixels
Use Conversion pixels to track the when a user completes a specific action on your website after viewing or clicking an ad.
Getting Audience and Conversion Pixel tags
For Audience and Conversion pixels, add the pixel tag to a web page's HTML to record when a page is viewed or the user has taken an action. The DSP identifies the action or a user that should be added to an audience.
Universal Pixels
Universal Pixels let you place a single pixel on as many pages as you like, and then set up rules to determine which page fired the pixel or if the user has taken a specific action.
See our Universal Pixel Guides for step-by-step instructions on tracking specific events, such as Landing Page Views or Form Fills.
