Segment Creation
Send segment creation requests to your Adstra contact. Include the following details:
- Audience Name
- Description of target audience
- Basis Advertiser ID
- Need-by date for target audience scale (counts)
- Opportunity stage (planning vs. ready-to-launch)
- Advertiser name and URL
- Flight dates
- Estimated programmatic media budget for campaign
- Estimated impressions with Adstra data
Provide as much detail as possible for the audiences you’re trying to reach. Please specify if your target audience request can be combined as one segment or if you need it broken out into multiple segments.
For account-based marketing (ABM) targeting employees at specific companies, provide the corresponding URL or an alternate identifier such as an address.
Segment Addition
Adstra data is distributed through Neustar. After a segment is created, Adstra will reach out to Basis. From there, the team at Basis will manually add the segment to the system within 24 hours of receipt.

Methodology
Adstra digital audiences are built with a privacy-compliant approach, utilizing multiple offline data sources. Most audiences are built from terrestrial data (name and postal address) making them truly deterministic. Personally identifiable information (PII) is anonymized to ensure privacy and all data is validated by a global fraud services provider to ensure accuracy. Health audience is modeled to ensure 100% HIPAA compliance.
In-market audiences are built leveraging anonymous online browsing behavior through Adstra's integrations with publishers & ad tech partners. Their technology identifies relevant keywords on pages and websites to provide the most accurate audiences who are seeking goods or services.
